1.1 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your
access to and use of the FirstShow mobile applications (iOS and
Android), the FirstShow website, the web checkout at
subscribe.firstshow.tv, and all related features, content,
and services (together, the “Service”). FirstShow is an
AI-assisted video streaming platform offering original series produced
or commissioned by FirstShow (“FirstShow Originals”)
and series published by independent creators (“Creator
Content”).
1.2 By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Content & Community Guidelines, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the AI & Synthetic Media Policy, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.3 If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
2.1 Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and to make any purchase. FirstShow is not directed to children under 18. Some titles are age-restricted and may require additional confirmation (see the Content & Community Guidelines). Note: under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a “child” is anyone under 18; processing a child’s data requires verifiable parental consent, and we do not knowingly offer accounts to children. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle age and children’s data.
2.2 Registration. Registration is free. You may create an account with a phone number (OTP), Google, Apple, or email and password, provided through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
2.3 Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in breach of these Terms.
2.4 Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated personal data from within the app (Profile → account settings) or by contacting contact@unscript.ai. Deletion is explained in the Privacy Policy.
3.1 Free content. Most FirstShow content is available to registered users at no charge, subject to these Terms.
3.2 Premium content. Selected titles are “premium” and require a purchase to unlock. Today, purchases are: - per-title unlocks - a one-time unlock of a specific title or episode; and - creator passes - time-limited access to a creator’s catalogue for a defined period.
Purchases are not an auto-renewing subscription unless and until we expressly introduce and label a subscription product. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3.3 Availability and changes. Content libraries, titles, and premium designations change over time. A title you unlocked may later be removed from the Service for licensing, legal, or operational reasons; where a paid title is withdrawn during your access period, see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3.4 Access, not ownership. A purchase grants a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream the relevant content for personal, non-commercial viewing for the applicable access period. You do not acquire ownership of any content and may not download (except where the app expressly allows), copy, redistribute, publicly perform, or circumvent access controls.
4.1 Web and Android checkout. On the web and on
Android, premium content is purchased through our external web checkout
at subscribe.firstshow.tv, operated using
Razorpay as our payment processor (supporting UPI,
cards, and other methods Razorpay offers). Razorpay processes your
payment details; we do not store full card numbers. Your purchase is
also subject to Razorpay’s terms.
4.2 iOS (“reader”) experience. On iOS, the FirstShow
app operates as a “reader” app: it lets you sign in and access content
you have already purchased, but does not sell premium content
inside the app. To buy premium content, you complete checkout
on the web at subscribe.firstshow.tv. This is designed to
comply with Apple App Store Review Guideline 3.1.3. Prices, taxes, and
payment methods available on the web may differ from any platform in-app
pricing.
4.3 Taxes. Prices are stated inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) as indicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes not collected by us or our processor.
4.4 Payment authority. By completing a purchase you authorise us and our processor to charge the applicable amount to your selected payment method and confirm you are authorised to use it.
5.1 What you can post. The Service lets registered users record and share short promo clips and post reactions and similar user-generated content, and lets approved creators publish titles and episodes (“collectively, User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content.
5.2 Licence you grant. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant FirstShow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including for formatting, thumbnails, and compression), publish, publicly perform and display, and distribute your User Content on and through the Service, and to promote the Service, for the period your User Content is on the Service and a reasonable period thereafter for backups and legal compliance. Creator licensing is governed additionally by the Creator Terms.
5.3 Your representations. You represent that you own or have all rights necessary to post your User Content and to grant the licence above; that it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; and that it complies with the Content & Community Guidelines, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the AI & Synthetic Media Policy.
5.4 Moderation and removal. We may, but are not obliged to, review, moderate, refuse, label, restrict, or remove User Content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion and as required by law. In-app tools to report content and block users are described in the Content & Community Guidelines.
5.5 AI and synthetic media. Some content on the Service is created or modified with artificial intelligence (including AI avatars, AI voice, and lipsync, using vendors such as ElevenLabs and sync.so, and AI-assisted promo generation). Your creation and posting of synthetic or AI-modified content is governed by the AI & Synthetic Media Policy, including consent, disclosure/labelling, and prohibited uses.
6.1 Our IP. The Service, FirstShow Originals, the FirstShow name and logos, software, and design are owned by FirstShow or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted here, no rights are granted to you.
6.2 Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use it without obligation to you.
6.3 Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, follow the notice-and-takedown (and counter-notice) process in the Content & Community Guidelines.
You agree to use the Service only as permitted by these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. You must not, among other things, circumvent content protection or geo-restrictions; scrape, mirror, or resell content; reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law; upload malware; or use the Service to infringe others’ rights or break the law.
The Service relies on third parties, including Firebase Authentication (Google) for sign-in, Cloudflare Stream for video delivery, Razorpay for payments, Sentry for crash/error monitoring, Microsoft Azure for hosting, Google and Apple for sign-in, and ElevenLabs and sync.so for AI features. Your use of some features is also subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Subprocessors are listed in the Privacy Policy.
9.1 We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or any incorporated policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users.
9.2 You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
9.3 On termination, licences you hold to premium content end. Refunds, if any, are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10.1 The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated or AI-modified content is accurate or free of artefacts. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including certain rights under the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and equivalent laws in your jurisdiction).
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstShow and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service.
11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 20 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases these limits apply only to the extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify and hold FirstShow harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13.1 We may modify the Service and these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app or by email). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
14.2 Consumers in the EU/UK, California, and other regions retain any mandatory local-law rights that cannot be waived by contract; nothing here limits those rights.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may contact our Grievance Officer:
Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days (and within the shorter timelines required for specific categories such as non-consensual intimate imagery). See the Content & Community Guidelines for details.
16.1 Entire agreement. These Terms and the incorporated policies are the entire agreement between you and FirstShow regarding the Service.
16.2 Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
16.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
16.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
