These Creator Terms govern your participation as an independent creator who publishes titles, series, or episodes (“Creator Content”) on FirstShow. They are in addition to the Terms of Service, Content & Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and AI & Synthetic Media Policy. If there is a signed creator agreement between you and FirstShow, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
1.1 You must be at least 18, have an account in good standing, and complete any creator onboarding/verification we require (which may include identity and, for payouts, tax and bank/UPI details).
1.2 Every creator application is reviewed before you can publish. We may accept or decline creators and content at our discretion, and may require additional information to comply with law (KYC, tax, sanctions).
2.1 You keep ownership. You retain all intellectual-property rights you hold in your Creator Content. Nothing here transfers ownership to FirstShow.
3.1 You grant FirstShow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free (subject to Section 6 payouts), sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, encode/transcode, reproduce, format, create thumbnails/clips from, publicly perform and display, stream, and distribute your Creator Content on and through the Service, and to use excerpts and metadata to promote the Service and your content (including via shared promo links and previews).
3.2 The licence lasts while your content is on the Service and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups, legal compliance, and completing transactions with users who already have access.
3.3 Exclusivity. Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, your grant is non-exclusive - you may distribute your content elsewhere.
You represent and warrant, for each piece of Creator Content, that: 1. You own or have all rights, licences, and consents needed to grant the licence in Section 3, including rights in scripts, footage, music, and other embedded works; 2. You have obtained releases and consents from every performer and any identifiable person, including likeness and voice consents where AI avatars, voice cloning, dubbing, or lipsync are used (see the AI & Synthetic Media Policy), and can produce them on request; 3. Your content does not infringe any third party’s IP, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and is not defamatory or unlawful; 4. Your content complies with the Content & Community Guidelines, including AI disclosure/labelling where realistic AI-generated/modified content is used; 5. Metadata (title, description, thumbnail, age/maturity rating) is accurate and not misleading; 6. You will pay any third-party royalties (e.g., music, guild, performer) owed for your content, unless separately agreed in writing.
5.1 Creator Content is subject to review, labelling, age-gating, restriction, or removal under the Content & Community Guidelines.
5.2 We may remove content or suspend a creator to comply with law, a valid takedown/court/government order, or for policy violations. Repeat IP infringement leads to termination.
6.1 Creator publishing is not open. FirstShow is not currently accepting creators, and no creator content is published on the Service. Nothing in these Terms offers or promises payment today.
6.2 Commercial terms come before any payout. If and when we open creator publishing, we will provide the revenue share, payout cadence, minimum threshold, payment method, and tax treatment in writing, and you will have to accept them before you publish anything or earn anything. We will not apply commercial terms retroactively.
6.3 Adjustments. Once payouts are live, we may withhold or claw back amounts attributable to fraud, chargebacks, refunds, or content later found to violate these Terms.
6.4 Taxes. You are responsible for your own taxes on any payouts; we may deduct or withhold as required by law and issue applicable statements.
You act as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture. You are responsible for your own costs of production.
You will indemnify and hold FirstShow harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your Creator Content, your breach of these Terms or your warranties, or your violation of law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
9.1 Either party may terminate your creator participation at any time on notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately for breach, legal risk, or repeat infringement.
9.2 On termination, we may remove your content from active distribution; the licence survives only as needed for backups, legal compliance, and serving users with existing access. Earned, undisputed payouts remain payable per Section 6.
9.3 Sections that by their nature survive (ownership, licence tail, warranties, indemnity, payouts accrued, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
We may update these Creator Terms; material changes will be notified. Continued publishing after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
These Creator Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India having jurisdiction, subject to any signed creator agreement and mandatory local law.
